    4 Stars We took a flyer on this one even though there are only a few reviews and mentions on the web. It was priced right, had the features we thought we needed, and had specific mentions about how it would coexist with a WiFi network.

    It met those expectations handily. It is light, the receiver is almost strangely light, but solid enough. We’ve encountered no network difficulties, and no loss of video or sound when the WiFi network is in use. They coexist seamlessly.

    The screen is small, but we should have known that- it’s not any smaller than advertised. However, the screen has a small viewable angle, so if you set it on a table, really only one person can see it at a time. Volume is a little low, when turned up to the Max, but is serviceable. I fall into the category of parent who wants to hear every lip smack, so I find myself straining to hear a bit, especially at a table eating with the other kids.

    You’ve heard before about the bracket- it’s basically useless. You’ll find yourself jury-rigging whatever to hold the camera in position. Which was true of every other camera we’ve had or tried.

    The power button is a little counter-intuitive- requires almost 5 second hold before it turns on- otherwise it does a little red-indicator-light-hiccup that makes it look like it’s out of battery or out of order.

    Bottom line: we’d buy it again. But we’d also pay more for one with a full length screen across the face of the unit.

    5 Stars This monitor is exactly what I was looking for in caring for my 80 yr old mother. I need to know if she is just turning over or actually trying to get out of bed. This monitor allows me to do just that. I have a split level condo, and this device helps eliminate needless trips down the stairs! The picture is clear, and I can hear her if she calls out for help or needs anything. I would not hesitate to recommend this monitor.

    3 Stars I am impressed with many aspects of this product, however mine seems to be defective.

    The camera: no issues with this component, it works well. Good resolution, night vision is great. Can’t comment on the battery life since mine is consistently plugged in. The bracket is reasonable to mount. Would be nice to have a clip option, but one can get creative and mount using zip ties, small C clamps, or even a large file clip if it is to be mounted where screws can’t be used (I temporarily mounted the camera bracket to our crib with a file clip, which worked well, but I decided it was positioned better mounted on the bottom of a shelf).

    The receiver: The display is a nice size. The signal is strong; audio and video both transmit well through 3 floors of my house with no static. There is however a periodic “click,” not loud enough to wake me up, but loud enough to be annoying when I am awake. The stand/belt clip is clunky, best used only as a stand unless you enjoy electronic components flapping about your waist. The menu system is simple to navigate. It would be nice to adjust volume or zoom the camera without going through the menu, but this is not possible.

    THE PROBLEMS: the receiver has repeatedly locked up, requiring reset 9 or 10 times in one week of use. This morning I woke up to find it locked sometime during the night. My daughter was still sleeping peacefully, but it irks me to think that she would have had to scream her head off before I could have heard her. The receiver battery life is also very short, perhaps 4 hours maximum, and it seems to drain the battery even when the unit is off.

    I am returning this unit to Amazon and ordering another of the same model.

    5 stars for the camera, 2 for the receiver.

    *UPDATE*
    The new monitor shipped direct from ZOpid rather than Amazon. Experienced connectivity issues when first set up; called ZOpid customer service, who resolved the issue promptly. The receiver has worked flawlessly in 2 weeks of use, no lock-ups, no clicking, and the battery life is much better.

    I would now highly recommend this monitor. I’m also impressed with ZOpid customer service.

    5 Stars I spent hours looking at reviews and researching which video monitor to purchase, and I was nervous when I made my choice. I revieved my ZOpid yesterday, and know that I have made the correct choice (I am watching it right now). I had heard that most video monitors have poor audio, however the ZOpid audio is quite clear- the video is also very clear considering the type of product it is (in the manual it says that the video is not all that clear, however, last night I was able to see that my son’s eyes were open while the camera was in night vision mode). While it is not like watching high-def TV- the ZOpid certainly meets my needs. I will update this review should I run into problems in the future.

    5 Stars I bought the Graco imonitor Digital Baby monitor Graco imonitor Digital Color Video Baby Monitor and was pretty unhappy with the volume sound quality and the freezing of the video.

    This Zopid system for the same price is 10x better. The picture quality is quite good in both color and night mode. It is easy to see what is going on. The sound is clear and understandable, though there is a half second delay so if you can actually hear the baby and the monitor it messes with you a bit. You get used to it.

    The form factor is good and the included rechargeable batteries are a nice touch.

    I have both wifi and 900 mHz phones and it does not mess with either of them, nor does it seem affected by them.

    My only complaint is that there is no dedicated volume control on the receiver, you have to navigate into it with a few clicks of some buttons … kind of slows you down if you are trying to turn it down in a hurry.

    The camera mount is a little utilitarian (not pretty) but it offers several possibilities for positioning the camera. I’ve seen better mounts out there, but this one will do (though you may have to put some screws in).

    My order handled through Amazon shipped rapidly. I ordered it Sunday and received it Friday.

    5 Stars I’ve read all reviews and decided this one would be the best.

    I am very happy with the picture. It is very clear and as I am watching an elderly person it works well.

    There is interference with the microwave, it blinks on and off but I don’t use a microwave for more than a few minutes so it really doesn’t matter. There is no other interference and we have IPODS, laptops, cell phones, computers and a Blackberry.

    Reception is very good through many levels of the house. The sound could pick up more but at the same time I was pleased that it doesn’t pick up the TV. My Mother leaves the TV on all night and I can’t sleep with it. Somehow it picks up her voice. If she called me or drops something I hear it right away, and I can always see her. Any new sound entering the room is heard.

    It has nice timing features for the night so the light doesn’t shine in our room. When I wake I just push the button and can see her and then it will automatically turn off at the time I set, like 60 seconds or 15 if I want that time.

    Zoom buttons work but you can’t pan around a room you would need to move the camera. It does zoom in and left or right and I am working with an adult who can move herself some, if it was a baby there is no problem.

    I read that it is cheap plastic but expecting that it isn’t too bad as buttons on others I’ve seen are much cheaper.

    I would recommend this monitor to a friend especially with a baby. It would work well with a crib or playpen area, and I am pleased with it for watching for the safety of my mother.

    5 Stars I didn’t go through a bunch of monitors before, but it was pretty obvious that there were major flaws in the other ones out there. Living in NYC, there is a crap load of interference – I can see at least 10 wireless networks in my apt. This works great, albeit my apt is a bit small. But once I used it at my parents house in the burbs without difficulty. It doesn’t take down my 2.4 ghz network, though it weakens it a bit. The night vision is great. Biggest issue is that it feels pretty cheap; I feel one bad fall and the thing will fall into a million pieces. If it does, I will update this, but I’ve had it 2 weeks and am very happy – no update means that it has outlasted my need for it.

    5 Stars I have never written a review before but I felt the need to because I am so happy with this monitor. It was our third try on a video monitor and we were about to give up because the other two were terrible. I am very pleased with the quality of the picture and sound. I also had to contact customer service and they called me back on a Saturday to walk me through a question I had. This was also cheaper than some of the other monitors we tried and works much better!

    5 Stars We recently got a baby monitor system as a gift from our baby shower. As soon as we turned it on we were surprised to see that there was someone else’s baby on the screen. After doing a google search we found that that particular system was working on 900Mhz, which was not secure. We quickly decided to return the item for security concerns.

    After doing research online we found this ZOpid-Interference set on Amazon. With limited reviews online about this product we were skeptical to purchase it, however, we decided to go forward thanks to Amazon’s return policy. This product has secure video, the reception for voice is clear, and even has a zoom feature which is very useful. My only con about this product is that when the monitor is on the plastic casing kinda lights up from the sides… it’s only noticeable at night but not something that is major. Other than that excellent product.

    5 Stars At first I had a “pairing” issue, the video monitor couldn’t find the camera. I sent an email to customer service and got a response in a couple of hours(!) with instructions for pairing that were slightly different than the manual. This baby monitor works fantastic, the video quality is great, battery life is long and has a very strong range. On a 2 story home with concrete walls, WiFi routers and 2 other cordless phones, it has zero signal loss from one side to the other. Comes with 2 power adaptors, both the same and have a green light on it so you know if they work or not. It even has a USB jack and cable to charge the camera from a computer. Looks like a well thought out and quality product. I never heard of this brand before but I took my chances and worked out great. Highly recommended.

    5 Stars I made my homework and read reviews about all the baby monitor’s I found, before picked this one. I had a doubt because of unknown producer. But now, after two weeks of this product use, I’m happy with my choice.
    I mounted the camera over baby’s crib. So when we are watching TV in a basement, or on a kitchen etc. we always know how is our baby doing. When baby wakes up, the monitor wakes up too, and you can see and hear your baby.
    Pros:
    - clear video, no interference with wi-fi;
    - clear voice (hence it wakes up with a click);
    - internal rechargeable battery in both the camera and the monitor;
    - can be powered from AC adapters (2 included) and even USB (I don’t USB, but good option; read reviews of alternative products – some of them could be AC-powered too, but you should remove batteries every time);
    - zoom (I don’t use it ether);
    - small and lightweight.
    Cons:
    - one camera (now I don’t need the second, but may be in the future, on the producer web they promise upgrade software for multi-cams);
    - night infrared light shines in a small spot – not all the visible area is covered (unless you use zoom);
    - wall mount for camera is fixed, you cannot use it if you often change place of the camera.
    The producer’s return policy (as stated on it’s web) is two weeks only (from shipping!). But if you buy it here in Amazon – it’s Amazon’s return policy. This is why I tried it. I would recommend it to my friend.

    5 Stars I have been through other cameras and the interference was terrible. I was unsure about buying this due to the lack of reviews, so let me be the 1st to say this was well worth the money. Great product, no interference.
    everything works as it should and I’m very pleased I can stop searching for a baby monitor.

    The only “con” is the mounting system, It’s not very flexible, you can mount it to the wall i guess, but i would have preferred a clip based system where i could clip it on the edge of the crib or dresser or something. But it’s a small gripe and amounts to personal preference.

    I have a 2 story house and the hand held unit traveled down to the basement without problem and WITHOUT any interference.
    perfect signal.
    it’s on right now with the doors closed and the blinds shut, so the night vision is working great as well..

    If you are searching for one, don’t be afraid to give this one a try, we are very pleased with it!
